Turkey has launched an attack on Kurdish militant targets in the southeast of the country, destroying ammunition and fuel depots and killing five militants, the army announced Monday.
The airstrikes in Hakkari on Sunday come as a response to the surge of attacks against the Turkish military by members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
