Minister for Science Ofir Akunis (Likud) has commented on reports that the European Union will begin labeling products from Judea and Samaria by next week.
"The expressions of hatred for Jews that we have known from recent history are raising their ugly heads again," said Akunis. "Sadly the European Parliament has no learned anything from history and is using the same unpleasant means today that we knew in the 1930s, which noted the beginning of the greatest tragedy in human history."
He added, "We are proud of all Israeli products, including those from the Golan Heights and Judea-Samaria, and no political argument can justify this dark and shameful decision."
