Pope Francis celebrated Mass for tens of thousands of Cubans today (Sunday), as part of his first trip to the Communist country.
President Raul Castro attended the service, and the Pope met with Raul's brother, former President Fidel Castro, later.
Francis will be visiting the United States next, and is credited with assisting in the newfound closeness between the US and Cuba. Yesterday, he called the growing relationship "an example of reconciliation for the whole world."
