The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on legislators across the US to denounce Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson for his remarks on Islam.
Carson told CBS's "Meet the Press" that he would be opposed to a Muslim president and that he considers belief in Islam to be inconsistent with the Constitution
The CAIR, the largest Muslim advocacy group in the US, says that this proves Carson should not be elected president, as he would not represent people of all religions and backgrounds.
