The police commander for the Jerusalem District, Deputy Commissioner Moshe Adari, visited the border guard who was injured on Friday. The guard is in Jerusalem's Sha'arei Tzedek Hospital after he was injured in the neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.
Deputy Commissioner Adari talked with the guard and his family. Speaking of Friday's incident, he said, "You acted with much dedication, determination and bravery. You moved the conflict away from the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in order to defend the residents, even at the risk of your own lives. I came to say thank you. You are heroes in the full meaning of the word."
