Central Israel’s district court approved of the administrative arrest decree issued for rightwing activist Meir Ettinger.
Ettinger’s attorney, Yuval Zemer of the Honenu organization, said that “Just as we expected, the court approved of the request for an administrative decree and conceded to the mounds of paperwork and drafts presented by the Shin Bet (ISA, Israel Security Agency) and the police. To say that I am surprised would not be the truth, since no court in Israel has ever denied a request to issue an administrative arrest decree.”
