The city of Sderot on Friday night called on the Israeli government to respond to the rocket attack on the city earlier in the evening.

"The residents of the city are not guinea pigs. They have the right to lives that are quiet and safe. There is a pattern of activity designed to harm residents, especially at sensitive times like the holidays,” said the municipality.
