A workers' strike in Finland has brought public transportation and ports to a halt today (Friday). The protesters are opposed to government cuts that are intended to turn around a three-year recession.
The strike affects city buses and trains, though ferries are still running. The national airline, Finnair, has also canceled more than a dozen flights and authorities are warning of delays.
