Chinese authorities say that 20 people have been poisoned as the result of an ammonia leak. Five of the victims are showing severe symptoms, though there are no reported deaths.
The incident occurred in the central city of Pingdingshan. Official reports claim that about 300 kilograms of ammonia leaked out of a ruptured pipeline over the course of 15 minutes.
