United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed fury on Wednesday night following reports that the President, Prime Minister and other officials in the African country of Burkina Faso were arrested by the country’s own Presidential Guard. He called for their immediate release.
“This incident is an overt violation of the law in Burkina Faso,” Ban said.
