Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan says that he is not ruling out the possibility of the IDF supporting the police in dealing with stone throwers. He made his comment while leaving the funeral for Alexander Levlovich.

"If the police think that they need help, I have no doubt that the army will be happy to give its hand in support," Ben Dahan said.

He continued, "While we were welcoming the new year, our Arab neighbors threw stones and killed a Jew. Stones kill. A stone is a weapon and I hope that the punishments for stone throwers will be increased."
