German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that she still believes European Union (EU) leaders should gather together in order to discuss the ongoing refugee crisis.
Yesterday (Tuesday) Merkel and Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann said that they hope to organize a summit for next week. Following their comment, the EU announced that the member countries' interior ministers will have an emergency meeting on September 22.
