Minster Ze’ev Elkin said on Wednesday that a number of steps must be taken to deal with the rock throwing a rioting in Jerusalem and on Temple Mount.
“The police need to act with more determination. This must stem from legislation and more stringent gunfire guidelines. At the same time, we need to deal with a deep problem in eastern Jerusalem, such as the matter of education.” Elkin explained that the school curriculum in eastern Jerusalem is the same as the one taught in the Palestinian Authority.
