Popular singer Sir Elton John says that he would like to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to discuss the latter's "ridiculous" attitude about homosexuals.
Sir Elton admitted to the BBC that President Putin "may laugh behind my back... and call me an absolute idiot," but he still hopes that a talk could help soften the way Russia treats homosexuals.
John is currently in Ukraine, where he has already met with President Petro Poroshenko. Their conversation also focused on how the gay community is treated.
