Minister of Internal Security Gilad Erdan responded to news of Sunday morning’s riots on Temple Mount.
“I applaud the Israel Police Department for preparing in advance and allowing entry and visitation on Temple Mount even today, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year). The severe events that took place this morning on Temple Mount require us all to ink about the regulations customary on the Mount.”
“It cannot be that Muslim rioters gather all night on Temple Mount and turn this holy site into a war zone.”
