Minister of Education Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) was the guest of honor at an event commemorating 80 years since the death of Rav Kook.
Yesterday (Thursday) Bennett finished the seven-day shiva period following his father's death. He spoke of his father during the event, saying that one of Jim Bennett's most admirable qualities was that he never ran away from difficulties.
Speaking to the crowd, he added, "I don't know of a better way to finish the year than with you. I wish that you all continue in your holy work."
