All trains entering Denmark country from Germany were halted today (Wednesday) after police found hundreds of migrants on board.
A spokesperson for the Danish police said that about 100 refugees refused to disembark from a train because they did not want to be registered in Denmark. Many say that they want to reach Norway, Sweden, or Finland, where conditions for refugees are rumored to be better.
According to European Union laws, asylum seekers should register in the first EU country the reach and should not continue on to another country.
