Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin says that she would like to be the energy secretary under President Donald Trump, but only in order to take apart the department.
Palin told CNN that she wants to see the United States become self-sufficient for its energy needs, rather than relying on "unfriendly foreign nations."
"Oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use," she added.
Donald Trump has said that he would be willing to consider including Palin in his government.
