A journalist from the Netherlands has reportedly been arrested in Turkey, only days after Ankara released two British journalists held on similar charges.
Frederike Geerdink wrote on Twitter that she was being detained while working in the largely Kurdish area of southeastern Turkey. This is the second time that Turkey has arrested her this year.
According to Geerdink, the authorities say that she was in a "forbidden zone" and that they were taking her for her own protection.
