Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon (Likud) visited wounded IDF soldiers and their families at the Tel Hashomer Hospital today (Sunday).

Among the recovering soldiers who met with Ya'alon was Ohad Ben Yishai, who was wounded during last year's Operation Protective Edge, Captain Y, a special forces commander who was injured last week, and the two soldiers who were run over last month, Yarin Ashkenazi and Yuval Appel.

The Defense Minister also spoke with the families, telling them, "It's important to be patient. We must now allow time and the doctors to carry out their work. You are in good hands. I hope that the new year brings with it good news and an improvement in their situations."
