The government approved on Sunday morning a national operation to reduce air pollution in the Haifa Gulf region by 50% by 2018.
The program will invest 111.5 million shekels towards reducing harmful emissions from industries and transportation methods, on top of the budget approved for the establishment of an ammonia factory in the south.
