A lawyer for the Vice News journalists that were arrested in Turkey says that his clients have been transferred to a remote prison.
The arrestees, two British citizens and their Turkish assistant, were arrested last week over terror-related charges in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir. Today (Wednesday) they were moved 500 kilometers away to the city of Adana.
Authorities say that the Adana jail has English-speaking guards and inmates. The lawyer counters that there is no need for the move, particularly as the court where they will stand trial, as well as the defendants' lawyer, are in Diyarbakir.
