A homebirth in the Galilee turned to disaster on Tuesday, when the certified midwife on site failed to locate the unborn child’s heartbeat. The expectant mother was rushed to Poriya Hospital, near Tiberias. There, the stillborn baby was delivered.
The Health Ministry said following the event that “Any woman can choose where to give birth.”
