The Southern Police District's fraud unit has arrested a man suspected of crimes involved about two million shekels ($508,000 US).
The suspect, a resident of Meitar and whose father owns prominent garage in the south, allegedly offered discounted houses and vehicles. He then took hundreds of thousands of shekels without delivering anything.
His preliminary sentencing is set at eight days.
