A survey conducted by the Migdam Institute for Channel 2 found that a larger percentage of the public approve of Gal Hirsch's nomination as police chief than oppose it.
According to the survey, 44 percent of respondents were in favor of Hirsch's appointment, 22 percent were opposed and 34 percent indicted they had not yet formed an opinion.
