ISIS has executed over 90 people in the past month alone, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. More than a third of the victims were reportedly civilians.

The London-based organization says that ISIS executed 91 people between July 29 and August 29, including 32 civilians. In total, 3,156 people have been executed since the group declared itself to be a caliphate last June.

The jihadist group gives death sentences for crimes including witchcraft, homosexuality, and assisting the US-led coalition in Iraq and Syria. Few are safe in the region; Syrian government forces, rebels, and even ISIS members have fallen to the executioners.
