The Libyan Red Crescent says that at least 76 people died after a migrant ship sank.
"Until now 76 bodies have been retrieved from the sea and 198 people have been rescued,” a spokesperson told AFP.
The ship contained about 450 asylum seekers in total. The passengers came from Syria, Bangladesh, and a number of African countries.
