German prosecutors pursuing charges against Deutsche Bank executives have asked to call 30 more witnesses, including media tycoon Rupert Murdoch.
The bank executives are accused of misleading the court about their connection with the Kirch collapse in 2002. Former Kirch owner Leo Kirch saiclaimed that Deutsche Bank caused his company to collapse after he questioned its credit in an interview.
Defense attorneys can respond to the request until September 22. The court will then make a final decision.
