Israeli judokas have failed to win the top prizes in the World Judo Championships, currently underway in Kazakhstan.
Lior Wilidikan qualified lost to Japanese Chizuru Arai in the women's 70 kilogram semifinals. Her next match will determine whether she gets the bronze medal.
Former world champion Yarden Gerbi came in fifth place in her weight class. Gerbi won the 2013 championship and came in second place last year.
