Authorities say that three people have been detained in connection with a truckfull of dead migrants found in Austria earlier today (Friday). The suspects are believed to be Bulgarian.
The count of victims is now at 71, and all are presumed to have been dead when the vehicle entered Austria from Hungary.
The truck has Hungarian license plates, and officials say that it was registered to a Romanian citizen living in Hungary.
The Hungarian prime minister's chief of staff, Janos Lazar, said on Friday that the lorry was registered to a Romanian citizen in Kecskemet, a city in central Hungary.
