Tropical Storm Erika has killed three people in the Caribbean island of Dominica. The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency notes that 25 to 30 people are also missing as the storm destroys roads and villages.
Dominican Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit wrote on social media that "Our primary concern at the moment is for the preservation of life in Dominica," he wrote. "We are now going to be focused on a search-and-rescue mission. We will focus on infrastructure after."
Erika's range spreads from Puerto Rico to the Bahamas.
