    Two Ships with 450 Refugees Capsize Near Libya

    Two ships, containing about 450 asylum seekers, capsized near the Libyan coast last night (Thursday), the BBC reports. The passengers came from Syria, Bangladesh, and a number of African countries.

    The first ship sent out a distress signal. The Libyan coast guard is organizing a rescue team in the hopes of saving any still alive, but authorities say that they do not expect there are many survivors.
