The Arab League has voted to delay a meeting between its various countries' defense minister. The goal of the meeting would be to create a joint military force to act in regional conflicts.
The League release a press statement today (Wednesday) explaining that the group's members will later agree upon a new date.
The intended force would have to deal with differences between its members. The League members support rival sides in Libya, for example. In addition, some of the countries are already part of a coalition which is attacking Iran-backed Houthi jihadists in Yemen.
