Iran’s Intelligence Minister revealed that his country’s intelligence agencies exposed a “Number of terrorist attempts,” to launch attacks in the heart of Tehran and in other Iraqi cities.
“The ‘Islamic State’ had plans to launch terror attacks in at least five countries in the region. Only Iran was able to identify the potential attacks and stop them before damage could have been caused,” the Minister told a local television channel.
