MK Dudi Amsalem (Likud) said that Minister Erdan’s decision to appoint Brigadier-General Gal Hirsch to the position of Police Commissioner was “Brave and intelligent.”
“Israel’s Police Department endured hurdles and horrors in the past year. Minister Erdan’s decision was the brave decision and I have no doubt that the appointment of Brigadier-General Gal Hirsch is the declaration of intentions to make the necessary changes within the Police Department,” MK Amsalem said.
