A joint effort between the Spanish and Moroccan governments has led to the arrest of 14 people. The 14 are suspected of recruiting members for ISIS, according to the Spanish Interior Ministry.
According to the official statement, the individuals are connected to "a network ... capturing and sending foreign fighters to join the ranks of the terrorist organisation Daesh [ISIS] in the Syrian-Iraq region that it controls."
Police stopped the suspects near Madrid and around Morocco.
