The Education Ministry, headed by Naftali Bennett, will inform the High Court it intends to discontinue funding gender segregated elementary schools.
The announcement comes in response to a petition filed by the "Free Israel" movement two years ago against former education minister Shai Piron's decision to indeed fund such schools.
