The Islamic Jihad terrorist who went on a hunger strike for 65 days in protest of his administrative detention has called on Israel to discontinue his detention and put him on trial if necessary.

In an interview with Channel 10, Mohammed Allan said he was aware his hunger strike almost killed him, but his convictions prevailed.

"No one told me why I was arrested," he explained. "The issue that caused me to hunger strike is the Israel Security Agency's view of the Arab citizen."
