Recent bombing attacks by Islamic State jihadists have killed 51 soldiers holed up inside in an air base in Aleppo, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Monday.
According to the Britain-based Observatory, government forces continued air strikes against Islamic State in the area in an attempt to keep the jihadists at bay as they stepped up offensives against both government forces and other terror groups in northern Syria.
