Houthi jihadists have used rockets to kill 14 civilians, mostly children, according to local residents. The attacks occurred in the southwestern city of Taiz.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting against the Houthis has also struck the region, though there are no reports on casualties.
Taiz is the third-largest city in Yemen, and has been the site for fierce battles between Iran-backed Houthis and Saudi-backed government forces.
