An Arab youth stole a bag containing a cell phone and a handgun from an Israeli car near the village of Hizmeh, in the Binyamin region.
The thief approached the car, which was stuck in traffic, stuck his hand through the open window, and took the bag off of the passenger seat.
Police and detectives managed to arrest the suspect before he got away. The handgun is being held at a police station.
