Members of the Likud party estimate that Kulanu faction members will all vote in favor of the gas outline if it is brought before the Knesset, and that the party’s MKs will not be able to vote as they wish, Haaretz reports.
A Likud minister was quoted by Haaretz saying that “The Kulanu party understands well that a vote against the gas outline is a direct violation of the coalition deal they signed. They are attempting to show their muscles in order to win political ground in the hope that the decision will not reach the Knesset, but it is clear to them that a vote against the government’s stance is out of the question.”
