“Islamic State” (ISIS) terrorists beheaded an 82-year-old archaeologist at an excavation site in the Syrian city of Tadmor. The body was then tied to a pole in the center of the city.
The archaeologist, Khaled Assad, had dedicated over 50 years of his life to investigating the city and its sites.
