Protesting residents of Ashkelon say they are pleased with having stopped Arab protesters from reaching the Barzilai Hospital.
"We will not be silenced when they are flying PLO flags inside of our city. Ashkelon will always be Jewish," several told Arutz 7.
Conflicting protests are raging over Muhammad Allan, an imprisoned member of Islamic Jihad who was hospitalized after losing consciousness due to a prolonged hunger strike.
