The US military has announced it is canceling a pretrial hearing for five people suspected of being involved in the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center.
The hearing was originally scheduled to begin next Monday, but was canceled by a military judge. Commander Gary Ross explained that "The judge cited issues that remain unresolved with regard to a claimed defense counsel conflict of interest."
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four co-defendants have been held in Guantanemo Bay since they were first arrested in 2003. Their court case still has not begun, with the latest day due to their attorneys' claim that the FBI is spying on their clients.
