MK Bezalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) responded to the complaint filed by the Ometz movement against him to the Knesset’s Ethics Committee for speaking out against the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Questioning) community.
“I do not think that I need to respond to every bit of populist nonsense uttered by a transitory organization looking to make headlines. I must be accountable to the public,” he announced.
