A pair of newlyweds from Mississippi intended to take celebrate their honeymoon by flying to Syria and joining ISIS. US authorities managed to arrest them before they left the country, though.
The two, 22-year-old Muhammad Oda Dakhlalla and 20-year-old Jaelyn Delshaun Young, were arrested at the Golden Triangle Regional Airport in Columbia, Mississippi. Police say that they intended to fly to Europe, and from there to Syria.
The couple is accused of conspiracy and attempting to provide support for ISIS.
