Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has announced that the government will close its investigation into former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, Channel 2 reports.
Ashkenazi was suspected of committing criminal acts while he was the chief of staff. This was the first time Israeli police have ever recommended indicting a former chief of staff.
