Prosecutors have filed charges against two Arabs for aggravated robbery. According to the prosecutors, they robbed a 19-year-old woman on the Armon Hanatziv promenade, as she was returning home from work.
The two, 20-year-old Ismail Avida'at and 18-year-old Muhammad Amir, are both from the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood in southern Jerusalem.
According to the report, the two tried to pull the victim's bag, causing her to fall and her left shoulder to strike the ground. The suspects then pulled her towards a nearby grassy area while kicking her back and trying to take the bag by force.
The victim screamed for help and tried to protect herself. Avida'at allegedly twisted her hand to stop her.
In the end, the suspects are accused of stealing the victim's phone and running off.
