The Islamic State terror group has claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack in eastern Iraq on Monday. At least 40 people were killed and another 72 injured in the blast at a marketplace north of the city of Baquba.
A separate bombing attack to the east of the city killed an additional seven people and wounded 25.
